Regarding Bob Dole's so-called economic plan, your editorial (``Dole's double vision,'' Aug. 17) states: ``The math doesn't seem to work.''
Doesn't seem to work?
If a first-grader said, ``Four minus six equals ten,'' I would hope that the teacher would be certain in her correction of the error.
One thing is for sure: If the current crop of Republicans takes over the presidency and both houses of Congress by seducing the American people into believing in free lunches, pretty soon criminals won't be the only ones living in hell.
