Police are seeking public assistance with these cases:
CHESAPEAKE
On Aug. 7, at 3 p.m., a man armed with a knife attacked a woman in the 100 block of S. George Washington Highway.
The man is described as white, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 180 pounds.
He had dark eyes and unkempt brown hair, and he was unshaven. He was last seen running toward the intersection of George Washington Highway and Cedar Road.
PORTSMOUTH
On June 17, about 9:30 a.m., a woman was robbed in the parking lot of the Signet Bank branch in the 5700 block of Portsmouth Blvd.
A man reached into the woman's vehicle and grabbed a money bag that held more than $3,800. The man cut the victim with a razor when she tried to get the bag back.
The suspect is described as white, 25, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 140 pounds, with brown eyes and short brown, curly hair. He wore white shorts and a white shirt.
VIRGINIA BEACH
On Aug. 5, about 12:30 a.m., a teen-ager left a friend's home in the 1100 block of Lands End Way at the Lands End Condominiums.
She was attacked by a man hiding inside her truck. He forced her to drive to the 400 block of S. Birdneck Road near a golf course, where he sexually assaulted her.
The man is described as white, in his early 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 165 pounds, with a slight, muscular build.
He had short dark haircut close to the scalp and a few days' growth of beard.
HAMPTON
Marguerita Gilbert and James Lee Laney are wanted for parole violations.
Gilbert, 28, is described as black, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 160 pounds. She uses the aliases of ``Trina,'' ``Rita,'' ``Lisa'' and ``Sharon.''
Laney, 35, is described as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 180 pounds. He is a marine mechanic and may live in the Buckroe area. ILLUSTRATION: Drawings
