An 18-year-old man was arrested without incident Sunday and charged with the murder last week of Illinoise Williams Jr., 41, police said.
Williams, of the 900 block of St. Julian Ave., was found dead in a car parked in Roberts Village in the 1400 block of Roberts Road about 11:30 p.m. Aug. 18.
Tony D. Langford, of the 1400 block of Buck Road, was charged with murder and using a gun while committing a felony. He was being held in the city jail Sunday night and faces an arraignment hearing this morning in General District Court.
Police said the killing appeared to be the result of an ongoing argument.
