LaToya Nicole ``Toya'' Mason, 15, of the 400 block of W. 26th St., died Aug. 21, 1996, in Norfolk.
She was a native of Killeen, Texas, and a student at Blair Middle School. She was a member of the Tabernacle Church of God In Christ, Norfolk, and served in the choir. She played basketball for Blair Middle School, Norfolk.
Survivors include her parents, Charlotte Mason and Larry Mason Sr., both of Norfolk; three sisters, Charlotte Mason, Michelle Mason, Lauretta Mason, all of Norfolk; five brothers, Larry Mason Jr., Troy Mason, LaRoy Mason, Albert Mason, Daniel Mason, all of Norfolk; grandmother, Gracie Coleman of Norfolk; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Alexander Coleman Sr. and Estelle Mason Fugate.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday by Elder Wilbur Daniels, pastor, and Pastor Mattie Jenkins in St. Paul Church of God In Christ, 1615 Isaac St., Norfolk. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 417 W. 26th St., Norfolk, Thursday at noon for the funeral procession to the church.
