Miriam Storey Leverage died Thursday, Aug. 22, 1996, at her residence.
She is survived by her husband, William N. Leverage; her two daughters, Nancy Rieckmann of Richmond, Va., M. Elizabeth Leverage of McLean, Va.; two sisters, Sara S. Batten of Greenville, N.C., Hazel S. Fisher of Newport News; a brother, J. Lewis Storey of Murfreesboro, N.C. Also surviving are her two grandchildren, Bryan and Brittany.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2, at the Money and King Funeral Home, Vienna. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Fort Myer Chapel, Ft. Meyer, Va., with burial at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or the National Breast Cancer Coalition.
