Doris Eloise Reid Bowles, 67, of the 800 block of Coolidge St., died Aug. 26, 1996, in Maryview Hospital.
Born in Ahoskie, N.C., she was formerly employed at BeLo Supermarket for many years.
Survivors include a sister, Hazel Dorothy Reid of Chesapeake; a brother, Efton J. Reid of Cherry Hill, N.J.; two sisters-in-law, Lillie W. Reid of Cherry Hill, Doris Reid of Chesapeake; and a brother-in-law, Troy Reid of Chesapeake.
The remains were cremated. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
