Clarence Wilson Tutwiler, 57, an Environmental Protection Agency senior computer analyst and author and chief programmer of a database system that collects information on water quality across the country, died of a heart attack Aug. 16, 1996, at his home in Washington, D.C. He received his master's degree in statistical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
Survivors include his sister, Hilda T. Dundas of Staunton; and two brothers, Herbert P. Tutwiler of Virginia Beach and Floyd E. Tutwiler of Prince Frederick, Md.
Funeral services were held at Hebron Presbyterian Church, Staunton, Va., Aug. 25, where he was a member.
