W. Horton Keith, 88, died Aug. 27, 1996.
Mr. Keith, a native of Selma, N.C., was the widower of Margaret Beamon Keith. He was retired from Old Dominion University as a warehouse manager. He was also the retired store owner of Keith's Confectionary in Fairmont Park area of Norfolk. He was a member of Fairmont Park United Methodist Church, Norfolk. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Bible Class.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary K. Lanzillo of St. Augustine, Fla., Rebecca A. Keith of Portsmouth; a son, John B. Keith of Portsmouth; two sisters, Glennie Keith Perry of Sanford, N.C., Mary Elizabeth Mallard of Wallace, N.C.; a brother, Joseph Linwood Keith of Sanford; three grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Donald Beard in Fairmont Park United Methodist Church, Norfolk. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Fairmont Park United Methodist Church General Fund.
