RONALD F. TAYLOR

Ronald Frank Taylor, 53, of the 1200 block of Kittery Drive, died Aug. 27, 1996, after a courageous battle with scleroderma.

Mr. Taylor was a self-employed auditor of Howard Schultz and Associates for 12 years until he became disabled in December 1995. Ron served four years in the U.S. Navy. He then entered Old Dominion University where he received a B.S. degree in business administration in 1971.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Taylor; a daughter, Molly of Blacksburg, Va.; a son, Casey of Ferrum College; his mother, Evelyn Evans; a sister, Sandra Taber of California; a nephew, Randy Taylor and a niece, Tammy King of California.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by Dr. Keith G. Almond and the Rev. Jean McDonald. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to Community United Methodist Church, 1072 Old Kempsville Road, where Ron was a member.
