Juan Rosa, 83, died Aug. 25, 1996, in his residence.
Mr. Rosa, a retired merchant marine, was a native of Naguabo, Puerto Rico. He was the widower of Bernarda Rosa.
Survivors include a daughter, Ana E. Pagan of Norfolk; a son, Jose Gonzalez of Norfolk and daughter-in-law, Alicia Gonzalez of Norfolk; two grandchildren, George and David Pagan; six great-grandchildren, Rosemary Gonzalez, Jessica Pagan, Stephanie Serrano, Juan Jose Pagan, David Pagan, David Silva; and three great-great-grandchildren, Ebony Taylor, Jorge Navarrd and Justin Guiles.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday by Father William Dale in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family wil be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, today and Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
