Wilhelmenia ``Menia'' Rogers White, 37, of the 600 block of W. 34th St., died Aug. 25, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General. Mrs. White was born in Norfolk, daughter of the late Radford and Doris Rogers. She was a loving mother, aunt, grandmother, sister and best friend to all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas White; three daughters, Tarneshia, Tiara, Laquisha Rogers; two sons, Damien and Byran Rogers; a brother, Edward T. Rogers and four sisters, Mary Brown, Shirley Moore, Charlene Rogers, Thomasine Jones, all of Norfolk; a sister-in-law, Janice Rogers of Georgia; six nieces and nephews; in addition, a host of great-nieces and other family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive guests at 2504 Karen Marie Ct., Norfolk from 8 to 10 p.m. today. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Hale Funeral Home is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
