Robert E. Patrizi Sr., 47, of the 900 block of Wolfpack Court, died Aug. 28, 1996, in Newport News.
Mr. Patrizi was a retired first class petty officer of the U.S. Navy and a veteran of the Granada Invasion. Also, he was employed with S & R Transport as a truck driver. A native of New York, N.Y., he was Catholic. He was a loving husband, father, and grand-father and a friend to many.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia A. Patrizi; five sons, Timothy Kennedy of New Jersey, Mark Kennedy, Brian Kennedy, both of Virginia, Robert Patrizi Jr. and Franklin Patrizi, both of Georgia; his parents, Frank and Thelma Patrizi of Florida; two sisters, Joyce Lake and Kathy Patrizi, both of New York; a brother, Frank Patrizi of California; two grandchildren, Brian Kennedy of Virginia and Brittany Kennedy of New Jersey.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by Fr. Edward L. Richardson. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park with military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.
