Clara Teresa Eure, 77, a resident for ten years, died Aug. 28, 1996, in her Croatan residence.
Mrs. Eure was a native of Chicago, Ill. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Law and Cecilia Jonkulska Law. Mrs. Eure was extremely active in and dedicated to the Sunday School Program at Cherry Hill Reformed Church in River Edge, N.J. She also worked with her husband for many years at Precision Heat Exchanger Company Inc. in Montvale, N.J. She and her husband retired to Virginia Beach in 1986 after living in River Vale, N.J., for 25 years.
Survivors include her husband, Hugh Eure Jr. of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Laura Teresa Eure of Rockaway, N.J., Elizabeth Claire Eure Evans and her husband, Richard M. Evans of Virginia Beach; a sister, Irene Satterwhite of Haworth, N.J.; a brother, Raymond Law of Hauppauge, N.Y.; and a grandson, John Louis Eure of Rockaway.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Colonial Grove Memorial Park by Reverend Bill Kincaid and Father Ron Roll. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
