Bertha A. Garcia, 70, of the 900 block of First Colonial Road, died Aug. 28, 1996.
Mrs. Garcia was a native of Havana, Cuba. She was a member of Church of the Holy Family, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda A. Lamboy of Virginia Beach; a son, Henry Garcia of Miami, Fla.; a brother, Jorge Gutierez of Hialeah, Fla.; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Mrs. Garcia was a loving mother, grandmother and will be greatly missed.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, by Chaplin James J. Fedder. Memorial donations may be made to the American Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd., Rockville, Md. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
