Ross Alan Dowd, 62, of the 1000 block of W. 44th St., died Aug. 28, 1996, at his residence.
Mr. Dowd was a retired U.S. Navy machinist, first class. He was a member of Fleet Reserve Association at Large.
Survivors include his wife, Leona G. Dowd; a son, Fred Dowd of Norfolk; two sisters, Lorrane Kapyuizsky of Staten Island, N.Y., Janice Romando of Toms River, N.J.; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:15 a.m. Saturday in St. Peters Cemetery, Staten Island. The body will be sent from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, to Halmon Funeral Home, Staten Island.
