Sharon Lynn Rube, 65, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 1996.
She is survived by a daughter, Teresa Ann O'Neil, and her husband, Michael, of Norfolk; a special friend, Gene Pitts of Buckingham; two brothers, Michael and C.J. Zongolowizz of Norfolk; a sister, Mary Dunn, and her husband, Mark, of Yorktown. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lona Lucille Zongolowizz of Norfolk.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. today in Thacker Brothers Funeral Home, Scottsville, with the Rev. Karl Netting and Mr. Bill Arey officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow Saturday at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk, with Mr. Sam Copeland officiating. The family requests that flowers please be omitted and memorial contributions considered for Hospice of the Piedmont, 1290 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, Va., 22901.
