Virginia A. Harrell, of the 2600 block of Liberia Drive, died Aug. 30, 1996.
Born in Creswell, N.C., she is survived by a son, Johnnie L. Baum Sr. of Norfolk; five grandchildren, a great-grandchild; nieces and nephews, Michael Jones, Valerie Jones and Katie Jones, all of Norfolk.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Union Chapel AME by the Rev. Clifton Wilson. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Friends may join the family at the residence.
