Mary Frances Hazward of the 2800 block of Chancellor St., died Aug. 29, 1996.
Mrs. Hazward was a member of New First Baptist Church Taylorsville and was a retired nurse.
Survivors include her husband, Johnson Hazward; seven daughters, Jean Ruffins, Norma Johnson, Juanita Hazward, Betty Washington, Mable Frye, Mary Fernandez and Jacqueline Torres; two sons, Johnson Hazward Jr. and Joseph L. Hazward; 29 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in New First Baptist Church Taylorsville by the Rev. James Woods. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
