Dawson Andrews Jr., 45, of the 3500 block of Seay Ave., died Friday, Aug. 30, 1996, in his residence.
Mr. Andrews was a native of Norfolk and the son of Dawson Andrews Sr. and the late M. Beatrice Willis Pridgen. He was baptized and formerly attended First Calvary Baptist Church. He was a former postal clerk with the U.S. Postal Service in New York and an Air Force veteran.
In addition to his father, survivors include his wife, Yvonne B. Andrews; a daughter, Tamara M. Andrews; two sons, Dawson D. Andrews III and Sean Stotts; two sisters, Geraldine A. Boyd and Teresa Renee Pridgen; two grandchildren; two nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday at Riddick Funeral Service by the Rev. Charles Moore. Burial will be in Hampton National Cemetery. The family will be at 376-E S. Military Highway, Dockside Apartments.
