I found the article by Veronica Michelle Butts on welfare to be interesting and well-written.
My question is, why does one of your employees, who writes so well and works 30 hours a week, qualify for welfare?
By not paying a living wage to your employees, you are being indirectly subsidized by the welfare program. So, is the real beneficiary of welfare poor single mothers or is it people like your stockholders?
