Peter I. Martin, 46, of Richmond, died Aug. 31, 1996, at his home on the Eastern Shore.
Born in Norfolk, he was reared in Cape Charles. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, he was in retailing. He was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Cape Charles.
Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Jean Martin of Cape Charles and a number of cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Vernon M. Martin and a brother, Lance McKeil Martin.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. today in Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Cape Charles, by the Rev. Harry Crandall. Fox and Scott Funeral Home, Cape Charles, is handling arrangements. Interment in Cape Charles Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cape Charles Rescue Service, Cape Charles, Va. 23310.
