Curtis H. Whitehurst, 61, died Sept. 2, 1996.
A native of Princess Anne Co., Va., Mr. Whitehurst was a retired supervisor of Kempsville Building Materials. He was a member of Beech Grove Methodist Church, Virginia Beach, and VFW Post (NU)392.
Survivors include two sons, Craig H. Whitehurst, Brian W. and his wife, Mary C. Whitehurst, all of Virginia Beach; a brother, Ira W. Whitehurst of Virginia Beach; and a granddaughter, Meredith Catherine Whitehurst.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
