Police are looking for a man suspected of trying to abduct two Virginia Beach teen-agers Sunday.
The attempt reportedly happened about 10:30 p.m. when the victims, a 16-year-old boy and his girlfriend, also 16, were walking near Arrowhead Elementary School, according to police reports. They were approached from behind by a white male with a handgun who ordered the teens into a nearby wooded area, police said.
After walking a short distance into the woods, both victims ran and called the police from the boy's home. Police were unable to find the suspect after searching the area.
The suspect is described as a white male adult, about 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a green hooded jumpsuit.
