Congratulations to Norfolk School Superintendent Roy Nichols and Norfolk athletic director Bert Harrel on their idea (``Gambling clinics set for Norfolk coaches, athletes,'' Sports, Aug. 7).
Children should be aware of the dangers of getting involved in gambling; it could destroy their lives and any chance of having a successful future.
We all know about the dangers of alcohol and drugs, but little about compulsive gambling. I am certain that this program will help our youth.
