Edna Nixon Moore, 82, of the 2300 block of Ardmore Ave., died Sept. 3, 1996.
Born in Englehard, N.C., she was a retired salesperson of Liberal Clothing Store. She was a member of South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church, Chesapeake.
Survivors include her husband, Ervin Warren Moore Sr.; four daughters, Winnie Payne Robbins of Tustin, Calif., Jane Moore Young of Hertford, N.C., Julie Moore Noble of Virginia Beach, Joyce Moore March of Suffolk; a son, Ervin Warren Moore Jr. of Coinjock, N.C.; a sister, Beatrice Cheek of Norfolk; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Amos Eby. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today and at the residence at all other times.
