Lecristie B. Johnson Parker, 68, of the 900 block of First Colonial Road, died Sept. 2, 1996.
A native of Memphis, Tenn., she moved to Virginia Beach in 1986 to be closer to her children. She retired from SEVAMP Senior Services in 1996. She was a member of First Lynnhaven Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Boler of Virginia Beach; three sons, Albert Kevin Parker and his wife, Valeria of San Diego, Calif., Richard Adrian Parker of Richmond, Va., Byron L. Parker and his wife, Jacqui of Virginia Beach; a sister, Lillian King of Chicago, Ill.; a dear friend, Hubert Anthony of Ahoskie, N.C.; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Mourning her loss are a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in First Lynnhaven Baptist Church, 2744 Robert Jackson Drive, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends after the service at the church. Interment to follow at the Princess Anne Memorial Park Cemetery. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
