Edward Wear, 70, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 1996.
Born in Birmingham, Ala., he was a 20-year U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He served duty on seven different ships.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Wear; two stepsons, Toby Dominquev, Lonnie J. Walker; a stepdaughter, Connie Lucca, all of California; a brother, Richard Wear of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Louise W. Fay, also of Virginia Beach, Edna Lathem of Alabama; a step-grandson, Lonnie Walker Jr. of Rocklin, Calif. Private family services were held in California.
