JOSEPHINE LAMB

Josephine ``Miss Jo'' Lamb of the 900 block of Bells Mill Road died Aug. 31, 1996, in Chesapeake General Hospital.

Born in Norfolk County, she was the widow of Charlie Lamb. Mrs. Lamb was a foster parent for the City of Norfolk. She was a member of the choir and usher board for Lee's Chapel A.M.E. Church, Chesapeake.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Harris of Norfolk; a son, John Harris of Virginia Beach; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Lee's Chapel A.M.E. Church, Chesapeake, by Pastor Gloria Myers. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The remains will be ready for viewing from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The family will assemble at noon at Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home for the procession.
