Barbara Suzanne Kozera, 28, of the 5300 block of Coachway Drive, died Sunday Sept. 1, 1996, at her residence.
She was born May 12, 1968 in Willingboro, N.J., and she was the daughter of the late Ruth Shepherd and the loving wife of Gary Kozera who survives. Barbara was a member of Aldergate United Methodist Church, Norfolk, her church service included the Aldergate Choir and the Children's Choir. She was also a Girl Scout Leader of Troop 975.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, John Brian Kozera; two daughters, Sarah Lynn Kozera, Jennifer Michelle Kozera; and a brother, Kevin.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 5767 Sellger Drive, Norfolk, with the Rev. James Ritter officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church. A mausoleum closing service will be held at 2:30 Friday in Princess Anne Memorial Park. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
