DISTRICT B

Motor vehicle theft, 800 block Kings Highway, Aug. 27, someone removed a red, five-door 95 Ford Escort from a church parking lot.

Motor vehicle theft, 5400 block Nansemond Parkway, Aug. 28, someone removed a blue and silver 95 Ford F150 pickup that had been parked in front of a business. The vehicle is a King Cab truck with the words ``Holmes Brothers'' painted on the side. It also had a Motorola flip phone in the trunk and a chrome tool box in the back.

DISTRICT C

Petty larceny, 200 block Pine Street, Aug. 25, someone removed the license plates from a vehicle parked in front of a residence.

Vandalism, Colonial Drive and North Nansemond Drive, Aug. 27, there were about eight reports of someone knocking down mailboxes and vandalizing yards.

Breaking and entering, 800 block Second Avenue, Aug. 27, someone entered a residence through the bedroom window and removed a 19-inch color television.

Larceny, 400 block Wilson Street, Aug. 28, someone removed a Star Ultra Star 40 caliber automatic firearm from underneath a bed inside a residence.

DISTRICT D

Breaking and entering, 600 block Factory Street, Aug. 25, between March 6 and Aug. 25, 1996, someone forced open the door of a residence and removed three Emerson VCRs valued at $260, one Samson VCR valued at $193, one RCA Beta VCR valued at $50, two 13-inch black and white televisions valued at $200, one 13-inch black and white television valued at $25, one RCA compact disc player valued at $150, approximately 500 VHS video tapes, approximately 500 LP albums, and 30 compact discs valued at $18 each.

Petty larceny, 400 block Carolina Road, Aug. 26, someone removed the license plates from a Plymouth van.

Larceny, 400 block East Washington Street, Aug. 24, someone removed a gray with blue top, four-door 83 Oldsmobile Cutlass. The driver had also left her pocketbook, containing money and assorted ID's, in the car. Her keys had been left under the seat.

Breaking and entering, 100 block Oak Street, Aug. 26, someone forced entrance into an apartment and removed money from a bedroom dresser.

Vandalism, 1300 block Wilroy Road, someone pushed over mailboxes at various addresses.

Breaking and entering, 300 block Highland Avenue, Aug. 27, someone pried open the door of a shed and removed a red and black McCulloch gas powered trimmer valued at $130.

DISTRICT E

Larceny, 4800 block Holland Road, Aug. 25, someone removed a white over blue, 86 GMC pickup truck from the yard of a residence. A black tool box was in the bed.

DISTRICT F

Breaking and entering, 2100 block Holland Road, Aug. 24, various items have been removed from storage sheds including a 19-inch television, a 10-inch Black & Decker saw, Christmas decorations, a Crossman air rifle, a salad shreader, a variety of tools with the initials ``TRS'' engraved on them, a microwave oven and a lamp. by CNB
