The coverage of first the Republican and now the Democratic conventions by CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS and CNN has been dismal. It has been endless prattle by high-paid news commentators interviewing countless self-proclaimed experts telling us, the American voters, what they want us to know, with only limited coverage of the actual conventions.
Thank goodness for C-Span, which provided gavel-to-gavel coverage without commentators. This coverage alone brought the true conventions into our homes.
