Rosmond H. McCallan, 71, of the 2700 block of Peach St., died Sept. 1, 1996, in Bayside Hospital.
He was rigger for Norfolk Naval Shipyard and retired after 26 years of service. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include five daughters, Anita M. Winstead, Barrie M. Briggs, Valerie T. Twine, Denise McCallan, Darlene McCallan; four sons, Rosmond E. McCallan, Floyd R. McCallan, Brian A. McCallan, Darron L. McCallan; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will assemble at Fisher Funeral Home on Friday at 10:15 a.m. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
