Susie J. Montgomery, 78, of the 4100 block of Williamson St., died Aug. 31, 1996, in Lynn Shores Manor, Virginia Beach.
Born in Elizabeth City, N.C., she was the widow of David Montgomery. She was a member of Saint Mark United Church of Christ, Berkley, Norfolk, and was a retired house-keeper for Executive Inn, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include a sister, Naomi Harper of Chesapeake; a brother, Haywood James of Elizabeth City; and many other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday by Bishop J. Fitzgerald of Faith Cathedral Church of God in Christ, W. 31st St., Norfolk. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Fitchett Funeral Home is in charge.
