GALLERY PLANS NIGHT OF CAJUN MUSIC

A special one-night tribute to Cajun music will be presented at Potrafka Gallery on Sept. 15 by Amy Ferebee and four other musicians.

The program will feature Jeannie Powell on fiddle, Greg Roberts on the Dixieland trumpet, Will Spady on percussion and Woodie Nordin on acoustical guitar.

Admission to the 7 p.m. concert will be $3. Reservations may be made by calling 399-4774.

Wayne Potrafka, gallery owner, said that Ferebee will appear at the gallery on a monthly basis on the Sunday closest to the 15th of each month.

Potrafka said each program will feature Ferebee with a different backup group and a different style of music.

``She has established herself as one of the most talented and versatile acoustical artists in the area, and she looks forward to the challenge of inventing a new presentation each month,'' said Potrafka, who added that Sunday night is a time when most musicians are free from other jobs, a fact that should enable Ferebee to perform with friends that play with their own groups. by CNB
