Frances Johnson Bunting, 79, died Sept. 6, 1996, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mrs. Bunting, a native of old Norfolk County, was a member of Monumental United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, William T. Bunting; two daughters, Brenda R. Bunting of Chesapeake, Virginia B. May of Arkansas; a brother, A.W. Johnson of Duck, N.C.; three granddaughters, Cynthia Williams, Nichole May, Ashley May; a great grandson, Ryan Williams; a nephew and two nieces.
A private service will be held. Foster Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to The Monumental Vision Campaign, 450 Dinwiddie St., Portsmouth, Va. 23704.
