BESSIE MAE CARPENTER

Bessie Mae Carpenter, 82, of the 2000 block of Adam Keeling Road, died September 6, 1996, in her home.

Mrs. Carpenter was a native of Winston-Salem, N.C. She was a member of the Fairview Morovian Church, Winston-Salem.

Survivors include two daughters, Ann Propst and her husband, Floyd, of Virginia Beach, Michelle Beavers and her husband, Michael, of Fairfax Station, Va.; three grandchildren, Deirdre P. Cox of Hampton, Courtney Beavers of Fort Worth, Texas, and Cristin Beavers of Fairfax Station.

A funeral will be conducted noon Monday at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, by the Rev. William R. Kyle Jr. Burial will be at Princess Anne Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
