Frank William Myers, 79, of the 300 block of Saunders Drive, died Sept. 6, 1996, in Virginia Beach.
Born in Norfolk, he retired in 1992 as vice president of Virginia Stationary and Office Supply Inc. after 54 years of service. He was a member of First Church of God, Norfolk, past board member and chairman of the board of trustees. Also he was a member of Portsmouth Host Lions Club for over 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, Esther Cooper Myers; a daughter, Linda Myers Rice of Virginia Beach; a sister, Katherine Myers Epperly of Norfolk; two brothers, Jay Fenton Myers of Tennessee, John Norfleet Myers of Norfolk; and a grandson, Randall Brent Rice Jr. of Virginia Beach.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in First Church of God, Norfolk, by the Rev. Carl L. Cooper and Pastor Gary Ausbun. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 Monday.
