Natalie ``Nat'' Brooke Phipps, 16, of the 4200 block of Ewell Road, died Sept. 7, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Born in Norfolk, she was a junior at Cox High School. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
Survivors include her mother, Julie A. Phipps of Virginia Beach and father, Timothy J. Phipps of Virginia Beach; a sister, Jennifer A. Phipps of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Nicholas B. Phipps and Beau A. Phipps, both of Virginia Beach; maternal grandparents, Emma Lee Bryant and Duval Bryant, both of Norfolk; paternal grandmother, Josephine A. Phipps of Norfolk; two uncles; four aunts; and 12 cousins.
A funeral will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by Father William Dale. A private burial will be at a later date. The family will be at Natalie's Home, 4204 Ewell Road, Virginia Beach, at all times. Memorial donations may be made to the S.P.C.A.
