THEODORE CLARK

Theodore Clark, of the 5200 block of Libertyville Road, died September 5, 1996 in Chesapeake General Hospital.

He was born in Norfolk County and was the widower of Mary M. Clark. He was a member of New Hope Church of God in Christ, Norfolk, and had retired as a laborer from Borden Chemical Co. in Chesapeake.

He is survived by four daughters, Brenda Epps, Ernestine Johnson, Elnor Richardson and Annie Taylor of Chesapeake; a son, Emmett Lamb of Chesapeake; four sisters, Ethel Whitfield and Mable Chambers of Chesapeake and Gladys and Doris Lamb of Portsmouth; two brothers, the Rev. Dr. Herman Clark Sr. of Virginia Beach, Earl Clark of Chesapeake; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and many other surviving relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday by the Rev. Dr. Herman Clark Sr. at New Hope Church of God in Christ, 3232 Brest Ave., Norfolk. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Fitchett Funeral Home in charge.
