Rose Wilma Baker Williams, 85, of the 600 block of Pembroke Ave., died Sept. 7, 1996 in Sentara Nursing Home.
Mrs. Williams was born in Tyner, N.C., on Feb. 13, 1911. She was the daughter of the late George H. and Emma Elliott Baker, and the wife of the late Earl Williams. She was retired from civil service as a key punch operator. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Ballard's Bridge Baptist Church in Tyner.
She is survived by two sisters, Minnie F. Baker of Norfolk and Hazel Baker Huffler of Sunbury, N.C.; a brother, Locke C. Baker of Tyner; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held in Twiford Colonial Chapel Monday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Michael Jordon officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. Twiford Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
