Rose Wilma Baker Williams, 85, of the 600 block of Pembroke Ave., died Sept. 7, 1996, in Sentara Nursing Home.
Mrs. Williams was born in Tyner, N.C., on Feb. 13, 1911. She was the daughter of the late George H. and Emma Elliott Baker, and the wife of the late Earl Williams. She was retired from civil service. Mrs. Williams was a member of Ballard's Bridge Baptist Church, Tyner.
She is survived by two sisters, Minnie F. Baker of Norfolk and Hazel Baker Hoffler of Sunbury, N.C.; a brother, Locke C. Baker of Tyner; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, Chesapeake, with the Rev. Michael Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
