Beatrice Odell ``Dell'' Gerard, 79, died Sept. 7, 1996, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Gerard was born in Harrellsville, N.C., and was the widow of Clayton E. Gerard. She was a member of Christian Harbor Baptist Church in Harrellsville.
Survivors include three sons, Charles J. Gerard of Chesapeake, Harold E. Gerard of Virginia Beach and Rex W. Gerard of Norfolk; four sisters, Orris Wilson of Monroe, N.C., May Worthen of Coos Bay, Ore., Garnette Amoreno and Mable Sadler, both of Chesapeake; and a granddaughter, Karen Renee Gerard of Richmond.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Rosewood Memorial Park by Dr. Richard Keever. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
