Rosetta F. Johnson of the 300 block of Geranium Lane, died Sept. 6, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Norfolk County and was retired as a seamstress after 20 years. She was of the Holiness faith.
Survivors include her husband, John H. Johnson; nine nieces, Thelma Turner, Nina Robinson, both of Norfolk, Helen Cowell, Evelyn Cuffee, Dorothy S. Powell, all of Chesapeake, Hazel Gallop of Hampton, Velma Scott of Virginia Beach, Juanita Cradle, Virginia Butler, both of New York; five nephews, Vernon L. Saunder of Chesapeake, Henry Saunder of Williamsburg, Robert Bartee, Robert Lee Ferebee, both of New York, Buster Ferebee of Norfolk; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Mark United Church of Christ by the Rev. Thomas Hart. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Family and friends will assemble at 313 Geranium Lane, Chesapeake, at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday for the funeral procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
