Robin D. Hardy, 37, of the 300 block of Roberta St., died Sept. 6, 1996.
She was supervisor of the Uniform Department of the Naval Exchange. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church, NBBC Choir, Missionary Society, Youth Committee, Scholarship Committee and was Girl Scout Leader of the Year, 1995-96, Portsmouth Unit of Girl Scouts, Colonial Coast. She was a 1990 graduate of Norfolk State University.
Survivors include a daughter, Rukiya T. Hardy; her mother, Carrie Hardy; father, Robert Hardy; two sisters, Rosalind H. Hutton and Regina M. Hardy; two brothers, Freddie L. Hines and William Hines; and many other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in New Bethel Baptist Church by the Rev. James M. Whitaker. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
