Frederick R. ``Pop Pop'' Chadwick, 72, of the 1100 block of Redstart Ave., died Sept. 8, 1996, in his residence.
Mr. Chadwick was born in Malden, Mass. He was a high voltage electrician in the civil service and retired in 1986. He was a member of the South Norfolk Masonic Lodge (NU)339, Scottish Rite Bodies and Khedive Temple of the Shrine.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Chadwick; children, DiAnn and Chum Springer of Virginia Beach and Donna and Art Zimmerly of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister; two brothers; eight grandchildren, Jodi and Jeff Diamond, Jill and Ray Key, Jenny and Doug Stanley, Art Zimmerly and Megan Zimmerly; and two great-grandchildren, Chadwick Diamond and Dana Diamond.
A funeral will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Geoffrey Blankenship in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Masonic Rites will be accorded. Memorial donations may be made to Sentara Hospice, (NU)8 Koger Executive Center, Norfolk, Va. 23502.
