LAWRENCE F. BUSAT

Lawrence Frederick Busat, 77, died Sept. 8, 1996, at his residence.

Mr. Busat was born in Bridgeport, Conn., and was director of Central Supply at Bridgeport Hospital. He was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church, Hickory Seniors and a volunteer at Chesapeake General Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Kathleen Brushwood Busat of the home; three stepsons, William S. Berges of Bokeelia, Fla., Richard B. Berges of Alta, Wyo., and John F. Berges of Branford, Conn.; two stepdaughters, Barbara Berges Healy of Del Mar, Calif., and Joan Berges Epstein of Wilson, Wyo.; a sister, Madelene Bednar of Bridgeport, Conn.; 11 step-grandchildren; three nieces, Joanne Lysak of Shelton, Conn., and Kathy Carbonella and Christine Gisolfi, both of Fairfield, Conn.; and two nephews, Roger Bednar of Ansonia, Conn., and Robert Bednar of England.

A Mass will be held at a later date in Connecticut. The Cremation Society of Virginia, Tidewater Office, Virginia Beach, is in charge of arrangements.
