Gloria Jean Rodgers Brown, 42, died Sept. 4, 1996 in a local hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Tony Brown of Norfolk; a daughter, Angela Blakely of Norfolk; seven sisters, Norma Jackson, Willette Colson, Mary Hayes, Margaret Jones, Devorah Rodgers and Pandora Williams, all of Norfolk and Carolyn Rodgers of North Carolina; a brother, Willie James Rodgers Jr. of Norfolk; six grandchildren, Anthony, Alexander, Alex, Alonzo, Angel and Angelique, all of Norfolk; and a host of relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Riverside Cemetery. Pretlow and Sons' Funeral Home, Chesapeake, is handling arrangements.
