A woman was sexually assaulted Tuesday by two men masquerading as police officers.
The woman reported that she was using a pay phone in the 1500 block of Effingham Street when two men wearing dark uniforms with brown patches on their outfits approached. They were driving an older model dark Ford with a flashing lue light in the back.
The suspects told the woman they were police officers and asked the woman to get out of her car. They took her to the dark side of a building and assaulted her.
The suspects are described as two black males in their 30s.
The first suspect is described as 5-foot-8, 190 pounds with light brown eyes and black hair.
The second suspect is described as 5-foot-4, 155 pounds with dark eyes and black hair.
