Marie K. Gillikin Snyder, 84, of the 4300 block of County St., died Sept. 10, 1996, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mrs. Snyder, a native of Washington, D.C., was the widow of Milton Percy Snyder. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Portsmouth.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Ann Cox of Melbourne, Australia, Lorraine Knox of Timonium, Md.; two grandsons, Kevin Andrew Knox, James Milton Cox; three sisters-in-law, Katie Bright and Marjorie Snyder, both of Portsmouth, and Ruth Boone of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in First Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Henry D. Scoggins. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth. Memorial donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 515 Court St., Portsmouth, Va. 23704.
