PEARL M. KEELS

Pearl Margaret Keels, of the 500 block of Longdale Crescent, died Sept. 9, 1996, in Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital.

Born in Jericho, N.J., she was the widow of Herman J. Keels and was a member of First Baptist Church Bolling Brook. She was retired from the Government Service Administration.

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Carr of Camden, N.J., Jean McKinney of Woodbridge, Va., Jacquline Young of Alexandria, Va.; three sons, Edward Carr of Camden, N.J., Hermon Keels, Alvin E. Keels, both of Chesapeake; three sisters, Elizabeth Golden of Camden, N.J., Catherine Dunon, and Helena Parker, both of Washington, D.C.; three brothers, Whitfield Parker, Gilbert Parker and Raymond Parker, all of Washington, D.C.; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted Saturday at noon by the Rev. Clinton Brown in First Baptist Church Bolling Brook, Norfolk. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens. The remains will be ready for viewing Friday at 3 p.m. The remains will be placed in church Saturday at 10 a.m. The family will assemble at the funeral home at 11 a.m. for the procession. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk, is in charge.
